We adopted two hedgehogs from Valerie, and the whole experience was awesome! It’s very obvious she cares about all of her hedgehogs very deeply. She was very quick with responses, really friendly and answered any and all questions. As a person with a bit of hedgehog experience I can tell her babies are very healthy and happy. I had a good experience adopting my new baby with Valerie. No trouble at all. The only trouble was me asking her sooo many questions, but yet she answered everything. With her knowledge in hedgehogs and experience in taking care of them, I think she’s the right girl if you have any interest in hedgehogs.
What’s great about Valerie is that she always puts the health and welfare of her animals first. During the horrible ice storm in December, when power for most was out for weeks, she immediately went out and purchased a generator. Her only thought was the survival of her little ones. It’s this dedication which I find so admirable. She kept us informed throughout that period about our little treasure and she only allowed us to bring her home when she felt she was strong enough to do so. We’ve had her for 4 months now and she’s a little angel! Thanks Val!
My roommates and I just adopted one of the retired breeding hedgehogs. Valerie was incredibly helpful and responded to our emails extremely fast. We were impressed and really, the process was made so easy!

This is my first experience with hedgehogs and needless to say I had a lot of questions. I was sending relentless questions her way and she answered each one promptly and patiently. It was a very positive experience. We’ll be bringing her back for boarding so that says it all 🙂

We originally googled Hedgehog Ville looking looking for an adequate breeder but found a friend instead. Valerie had been nothing but supportive, informative and honest throughout this whole process, and while it was pretty difficult not to be impatient she made the whole waiting period much more bearable. She never waited more than 24 hrs to answer our emails and made sure to update us on our baby with messages and photos every week. Even after only enjoying our baby for a day (lol), I realized that I’ve never had a hedgehog quite like her which goes to show the commitment Valerie puts into her hedgehogs and customers.

Valarie is an experienced breeder. She took the time to explain everything when we picked up our little girl Hedi. She was also supportive and answered all questions immediately to every inquiry we had prior to picking up our hedgehog. Would recommend Valarie to anyone considering owning a hedgehog. It has been almost one month since we took Sesame home. He is a very sweet little guy and so funny in his own ways. First day using the wheel he lifted up the litter pan and turned it 90 degrees on top of the wheel stand so he could sleep under the pan (have no idea how he did it). Having him forced me to take a justified break every day for an hour which is a nice change in my life.
Valerie has been very helpful throughout the process and made it so much easier for us to have a hedgehog for the first time. She answered all our questions quickly and gave us weekly update on our hedgehog’s progress after birth. Thank you Valerie!
I got my little guy on Tuesday from Valerie. He is settling in nicely and seems to be as happy as a lark in his new home. Valerie has been super helpful throughout my entire process of getting a hedgehog and has answered all my question and then some very quickly. I just picked up my baby yesterday and I can already tell he is going to be an adventurous little guy! I spent quite a while trying to find a reliable breeder and I’m so happy that I found Valerie. She has been better than I ever hoped! Valerie was so accommodating and helpful, her starter kit is fabulous! I got my hedgie today, and he’s absolutely perfect! Valerie was super helpful with questions and emailed me back very quickly. Sir Tumbles is currently asleep in his cage, but he’s very friendly and adventurous. Definitely a good choice ^.^

Valerie was wonderful and I was able to choose a hedgehog that I felt a strong connection to. Our hedgehog Rosemary is very friendly, curious, beautiful and healthy, and we are very happy to have her in our home. I have kept hedgehogs previously but Valerie was able to answer all of my questions, she is a very experienced breeder!

Valerie was extremely helpful throughout the process of bringing my new family member home. She knows quite a lot about care and breeding, and made it an easy process for me. Its been about 2 months since I got my hedgehog from Valerie. The process was surprisingly easy and straight forward. Our little Rosy is quite the curious character and much like her mom Peggy loves to explore her surroundings. Also, taking after her dad Mojo, she is very energetic running on her wheel at all hours in the night. We thank Valerie for bring her into our lives.

When I bought Thorn from Valerie about a year ago I thought that the only contact I’d have with her would be up until I got Thorn home with me.
